Millions of people have flocked through the doors of Madame Tussauds since they first opened over 200 years ago, and it remains as popular as ever. There are many reasons for this enduring success, but at the heart of it all is good old-fashioned curiosity. Today’s visitors are sent on a unique, emotionally-charged journey through the realms of the powerful and famous. Duration 2 Hours

Tower of London

The Tower of London is an internationally famous monument and one of England’s most iconic structures. The massive White Tower is a typical example of Norman military architecture, whose influence was felt throughout the kingdom. It was built on the Thames by William the Conqueror to protect London and assert his power. The Tower of London – an imposing fortress with many layers of history, which has become one of the symbols of royalty – was built around the White Tower. Despite the Tower of London’s grim reputation as a place of torture and death, within these walls you will also discover the history of a royal palace, an armory and a powerful fortress. Don’t miss Royal Beasts and learn about the wild and wondrous animals that have inhabited the Tower, making it the first London Zoo. Discover the priceless Crown Jewels, join an iconic Beefeater on a tour and hear their bloody tales, stand where famous heads have rolled, learn the legend of the Tower’s ravens, storm the battlements and get to grips with swords and armor and much more!

Duration 1 Hour

Day 4:The London Eye – Fast Track Entry

At 135 meters (approximately 443 feet), the London Eye is the world’s largest cantilevered observation wheel. It was conceived and designed by Marks Barfield Architects and was launched in 2000, and has since won over 85 awards for national and international tourism, outstanding architectural quality and engineering achievement. The observation wheel turns slow enough for people to embark while it is moving, and a complete turn takes about thirty minutes. Thanks to the construction of the glass capsules on the outer side of the rim, you will have a great 360-degree view of London. Many famous landmarks are clearly visible, including Buckingham Palace, St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Houses of Parliament. On a clear day, you can see as far as 40 kilometers (approximately 25 miles). Make sure to reserve a specific time in advance as all entries now require a fixed-time reservation. A helpful hint? It’s less crowded at night and the views on a clear night are even more spectacular.

Duration 30 Minutes

Day 5:Harry Potter’s London

Visit the film locations of more than 20 scenes from the Harry Potter film series on this fabulous tour. This privately guided tour brings you into Harry Potterland, then visits Gringotts Bank (outside only) where you’ll walk over the Knight Bus bridge. Walk the avenue to the Leaky Cauldron (film one), then stand at the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron from film three. Later, snap a photo outside Third Hand book emporium and then see the bridge that is destroyed by Death Eaters from film six and walk on it. Follow Harry’s complete broomstick flight (film five) along the River Thames and see Grimmauld Place (yes it does exist, if you know where to look. No moving houses though!). See where Harry disappears at Kings Cross Station, then it’s off to get a picture under the sign 9 3/4. See where Harry and Ron steal the flying car, and later take a photo inside the train station used for exiting to the Ministry of Magic, then walk the footsteps of Harry and Mr. Weasley to the Ministry of Magic. See where Ron spies on the ministry. Alongside your dedicated Harry guide, you’ll be able to ask many questions regarding the films, and there is even a small quiz to keep you on your toes.
